Wignes Lake Lodge consists of two beautiful cabins nestled in a quiet protected bay centrally located on the lake. Each cabin measures approximately 24' x 24' and has all the comforts of home with a kitchen, screened porch, large sitting area, and full bathrooms with plenty of hot water.
The open birch and spruce forest surrounding the camp provides an excellent opportunity for hiking. Many guests take advantage of our two-mile scenic hiking trail to burn off shorelunch calories in the evening.
Breakfast includes the option of jam and toast, dry cereal, Red River, eggs, bacon, French toast and pancakes. For lunch we will have the staples necessary for sandwiches if you are not planning on preparing a shore lunch. Examples of evening meals include ham, roast, chicken, steak and ribs with potatoes and vegetables. If you have any dietary restrictions we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Wignes Lake Lodge is staffed with a full time camp manager. He will ensure the basics are taken care of. Your cabin will be clean. The refrigerator and cupboards will be stocked. The boats will be clean and fueled. We do have a satellite phone on site for emergencies. Gas, groceries and bedding are included in the package. Soda and beer are available at an extra charge. Nine weight fly rods and deep water trolling rods are provided at no cost. Anglers should bring their own spinning or casting gear.
Wignes is equipped with 16-foot Lund Pike aluminum boats. The boats have flat, carpeted floors, swivel captains chairs, electronic depth finders, fish cradles and are powered by 25 horse, four stroke Honda outboards. We also provide well-marked topographic maps for your exploration efforts.
